ServiceS
R.E.S.E.T. will offer sports massages that meet the needs of athletes but not only. This practice aims to release specific tensions and/or prepare the body for an activity. The maneuvers are performed in depth allowing a myofascial relaxation, an intra muscular work. Passive mobilizations as well as stretching can be performed.
Sports massage can be used to prepare for training/competition as well as for recovery. It aims to preserve mobility and flexibility of the joints and to relieve musculo-articular pain related to training or muscle fatigue.
The therapist will intervene to prevent muscular pain or damage and help relieve the client’s specific tensions. He prepares the muscles for the effort while avoiding injuries. After the training and the effort, he prevents the aches and relaxes the muscles for a better recovery.
R.E.S.E.T. provide physical therapy services. Kinesitherapy is a massage and movement therapy based on coupled passive and active mobilizations. Physiotherapy treatments have a therapeutic effect on the body by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems.
RE.S.E.T. will offer kinesiology services. Kinesiology is the study of muscle activity, physiology and movement mechanics. Clients will be provided with a tailored follow-up in rehabilitation, performance and exercise education. During the initial evaluation, we will be able to determine the presence of muscular lesions or weaknesses and physical imbalances that may lead to biomechanical dysfunctions. Based on this evaluation, a training program will be prescribed along with various recommendations for the workplace and daily life.
Among the objectives of Kinesiology, we can find: weight loss, performance, strengthening, injury prevention, post-injury rehabilitation, fall prevention.
Osteopathy involves a holistic understanding of the patient, preventing, diagnosing and manually treating dysfunctions in the mobility of tissues in the human body that may affect health.
Osteopathy uses a variety of manual techniques to assess and treat body dysfunctions. These include joint manipulation and mobilization, myofascial release, visceral and cranial techniques.
Osteopathy can help with various conditions such as back pain, joint pain, and sports injuries.

FOUNDERS
Pauline Le Couteller
B.Sc Kinesiology
Registered massage therapist
Co-founder of the R.E.S.E.T. Clinic Pauline has been passionate about sports, health and wellness since she was very young. She quickly took the path of exercise science at Florida Atlantic University in the United States. In search of adventure and curious to discover new cultures, Pauline took off to Montreal where she studied kinesiology at the University of Quebec in Montreal. During her studies, she sought experience in fitness centers and rehabilitation centers where she learned more about the field. In addition to her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Pauline obtained a diploma in Sports Massage Therapy in 2019, specializing in sports injuries.
Amélie Guay

STAFF
WHY R.E.S.E.T. ?
Amélie and Pauline met during a training in massage therapy. After several months, they quickly realized that they shared the same values and vision of the profession. The two friends therefore decided to create their own clinic. Their common goal is to accompany their clients throughout their treatment and healing process by offering them different adapted services (manual therapy and kinesiology). After several months of hard work, the R.E.S.E.T. clinic was born.
